Student Ambassador at Earlham College
Class of 2022
Hometown: Richmond, IN
My favorite class so far I should say is definitely Principles of Chemistry with Corinne. She made that class so fun even though it was an 8 AM class. The lab section was not as rushed as it when it was in High School and you will get to learn the instruments, concepts, and the ideas for future classes and research opportunites.
I choose Earlham because of how small the community is, but despite being a small college, it has one of the highest diversity rate in US. Earlham College is a private liberal arts college. The college was established in 1847 and it is almost 200 years. They are well known for their Quaker values such as integrity, a commitment to peace and social justice, mutual respect, and community decision-making.
When I first arrived at Earlham, everyone is calling each other by their first name based regardless of age, status, or profession. Every one has mutual respect for one another. Another thing I see is that squirrels are a common thing to see on campus. Especially, they are not as scared and are as easy going with the students, faculties, and etc.
